The role of Khawarij in the development and promotion of Takfiri movement in the Islamic world

Abstract

The Kharijites of Sadr Islam, who rose during the Caliphate of Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (a.s.), by trampling on the need to obey the first orders and pay attention to the exterior and interior of the Qur'an, arbitrarily compiled a framework that was in clear contradiction with the holistic view of Islam, and by separating the path The majority of the society turned to open struggle against Imam Ali (AS) and became the cause of major intellectual and ideological abuses throughout history.Today, Takfiri groups such as the Taliban, Al-Qaeda and ISIS emphasize the validity and correctness of their intellectual foundations by using the ideas of the Khawarij, consider others as deviant from the Islamic religion, and consider themselves authorized to take any action against Muslims.This research has tried to scrutinize the spaces, signs and factors that led to the development and promotion of the takfiri movement in Islam with the descriptive-analytical method and with the benefit of Khawarij's flow science.According to the results of this research, with the rule of self-centeredness and rationalism, it is possible to justify any irrational action and the conditions are provided to make it appear holy.Both groups share the word "right",but they propagate false will. Among the most important similarities between the Kharijites and the thinking groups, we can point to prejudice in religion, considering Muslims to be polytheists and infidels, reasoning based on the appearance of the verses and avoiding deliberation and rationality,fighting against Muslim governments, misunderstanding and being with the enemy of religion. did
