Abstract

Saad Al-Sabah is one of the poets who has reflected the various dimensions of women's issues in his poetry. In many cases, it seems to be a kind of struggle against men. According to the present study, anti-patriarchal tendencies in this poet's poems include such things as criticizing the nature of patriarchy, rebelling against man, speaking harshly towards him and protesting against living together. The main purpose of this study is to study and study the stereotypes of gender in Eastern societies (patriarchy) in the formation of anti-discrimination in the poems of Saad Al-Sabah. The results showed that, unfortunately, throughout history, men have always been the only basic axis of the family, and this domination and uniaxiality has also overshadowed culture and literature. So that women have always been on the margins of culture and outside the scope of literary activities and have not been able to perform in the field of literature. Some consider the dominance of poetry and literature to be the dominance of masculine literature and culture, and if women seldom took up the pen, they spoke the language of men's culture and thought, because culture and literature are occupied by masculine thinking and women use their own language in accordance with nature. They did not have their own women. In his poems, Saad Al-Sabah calls on the society, especially women, to seek freedom and think freely, and believes that he should be able to express his views and opinions easily in society and participate .
