The role of school social education teachings in preventing adolescent identity crisis

Abstract

The aim of the present study was to investigate the educational role of school in preventing the identity crisis of adolescents. The present research method was combined (qualitative and quantitative) and practical in terms of its purpose. The statistical community of the qualitative stage to identify the educational components of the school included experts in the field of education and child and adolescent educational psychologists and sociologists, who were interviewed based on the rule of saturation of 15 experts. In the quantitative stage, the statistical population included school principals, whose sample size was 220 and were selected based on random sampling. SPSS and Amos statistical software were used for data analysis. The findings showed that the three main educational components of the school include political, religious and moral. Also, the quantitative results showed that the educational role of the school is 0.133 and the t value (5.47) has an impact on the prevention of adolescent identity crisis. Also, considering that the GOF value is equal to 0.792; It can be said that the overall fit level of the model is excellent and acceptable.
