Identify and prioritize the factors affecting the leadership style in the petrochemical industry

Abstract

Efficient and competent management is a prerequisite for organizations to achieve dynamism and excellence. In this research, in addition to identifying the factors affecting the insightful leadership style, the factors are prioritized based on the questionnaire method. The statistical population of the study consisted of managers and senior petrochemical experts, of which 200 were selected as a sample. The research instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed based on intuitive techniques and Cronbach's alpha was used to determine the reliability. Exploratory factor analysis method was used to identify the factors affecting insightful leadership based on the lived experiences of Maroon and Amirkabir petrochemical managers. The results showed that the components of manpower management, authoritarianism, lack of integration within the organization, supervision, human relations management, production challenges, technical and political management, employee personality differences, entry and exit of production factors, inflexibility and presentation Outlook with an average score of 4.28, 4.16, 4.11, 4, 3.96, 3.93, 3.78, 3.77, 3.65 and 3.23 were determined as the most important factors affecting the vision management style in the petrochemical industry. The results of confirmatory factor analysis of Basir leadership model showed that Basir leadership style model and the factors affecting it in Maroon and Amirkabir Petrochemical can be fitted and applied.
