Abstract

Democracy is the ultimate goal of all societies and political systems and the ideal state of management. The institutionalization of democratic values is an important platform for the development of good governance. Development, the attainment of social welfare, civil liberties, the reduction of class divisions, the institutionalization of civil rights and the alleviation of poverty all depend on the prevalence of democratic values. The main purpose of this study is to study the factors affecting the democratic values of citizens. The research method is quantitative meta-analysis (cm2). In order to perform meta-analysis, 26 researches between 2004 and 2004 were reviewed and 15 cases were selected as the final document. The results show that the tendency towards democratic values was higher among men, married people, 18 to 40 years old, upper class (high income level) and Persian people. The magnitude of the meta-analysis suggests that there is a significant relationship between political, psychological, economic and social factors with a tendency towards democratic values, and finally 0.291 explains and predicts its changes. According to the assumption of heterogeneity between studies, the adjustment effect of citizens is equal to 0.345, university students equal to 0.124 and education staff equal to 0.201 on democratic value and the overall effect of these moderating variables (mediating variable between independent and Dependent) is equal to 0.261.
