Abstract

The confrontation of Islamic countries with modernity has affected the position of women in these societies in many ways. Political Islam has tried to provide many answers to the contradictions caused by the confrontation with Western ideas and their influence on women's discourse in the Islamic society. These answers range from full acceptance of liberal-democracy and feminism to their absolute rejection in the form of Talabani Islam. Each of the Islamic countries has its own historical developments and cultural coordinates, and this has also affected how the aforementioned discourse is elaborated in each of the Islamic societies. The question is, considering the teachings of Shiite Islam and contemporary developments, what kind of discourse can answer women's issues in Iranian society, especially the discussion of women's value in society? The present research introduces the "wisdom-based" approach, which theoretically results from the teachings of political Islam, especially the leaders of the Islamic revolution, namely Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader. Considering that Hikmat-Banyan's approach in analyzing the phenomenon of gender division of labor departs from single-cause theories, it is based on Islamic principles and is ultimately influenced by the developments of contemporary political Islam; The hypothesis is that this approach provides a suitable answer for women's issues, especially the value of women in the Islamic-Iranian society. This research, with a theoretical-historical approach, tries to conclude the data collected based on the library method in a descriptive-analytical way and using discourse analysis.
