Abstract

The development of communications and information in the international information society, and consequently the emergence of transnational politics, requires a new diplomacy based on transparency, openness and cooperation with civil and transnational civil society actors in the public sphere. Meanwhile, due to the importance and attention of the Islamic Republic of Iran to nations and public opinion, this type of diplomacy has a significant place in the country's foreign policy. thereforeThe question that is the main concern of the author is which elements have played an effective role and position in the public diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran towards the Islamic world? In response to this question and inspired by the conceptual and strategic model of public diplomacy, the hypothesis is raised that it seems that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has over time played a key role in public diplomacy along with other pillars. And this has become much more pronounced in recent years with the dominance of new media technologies and virtual networks and competing powers globally and in regions such as the United States, the European Union, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, and the need to update information. The research method in this article is descriptive-analytical and the method of data collection is library and filing tools.
