Content analysis of children's digital radio programs and its audience

Abstract

The method of the present study was content analysis that was performed in the statistical population of radio programs for children and adolescents of digital radio in 1400 with the audience of age groups "A", "B" and "C" (36 programs). The statistical sample was selected in a stratified random manner, with 8 programs: "Dandelion, Goodnight Little, Knowledge, Did You Know, A Proverb, O Story, Heavenly Questions, and The Adventures of Elephants and Ants."
Analysis of the content of the children's digital radio programs in children in age groups "A", "B" and "C" indicates that the educational literature has been able to play the most important role in the following categories: mention of social and moral teachings ( 03/18), mentioning revolutionary, religious and mystical teachings and values (13/13), increasing accuracy and creativity to increase thinking (13/17), mentioning slang (11/23), using poetic expressions (26/13) 10), mentioning scientific / logical teachings (9/94), mentioning naturalistic teachings (animals, plants, sea, etc.) (7/88), mentioning appropriate daily behaviors (6.05), responsibility (2.70) ), Realism and curriculum / career planning (2.70), mentioning proverbs / poetry / motels, myths, etc. (2.48), mentioning / introducing places (1.30), and mentioning the names of poets, Literature, elders, etc. (0.32). Also, the percentage of audience satisfaction with children's digital radio programs was in age group "A" (89), age group "B" (87) and age group "C" (91).
