Abstract

The purpose of the research is to identify the impact of labor migration on the economic, social and political development of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The effects of elite immigration can be positive or negative and create opportunities or limitations for economic, social and human development. Its effects will be different depending on the type of country, its economic and social trends, as well as the scale and characteristics of immigration and the individual behavior of immigrants. For example, depending on the type and scale of migration, migration prospects can increase or decrease incentives to invest in education and human capital locally. The main question that this research seeks to answer is, what is the impact of labor migration on the economic, social and political development of the Islamic Republic of Iran? In this research, we have used the theme analysis method to identify the effects of labor migration. Among the most important effects that the workforce has had on the economic, social and political development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, factors such as; Impact on economic development, increase of unskilled labor force, in social development to factors such as; Social despair, the appreciation of immigration, the reduction of social capital, maintaining the elite network in political development, to factors such as; The loss of the possibility of international competition, the elimination of meritocracy, the reduction of efficiency. in cultural development to factors such as; Documentism pointed out the disregard for the place of science.
