Abstract

Today, the quality of life is an issue that concerns all governments and most international organizations, and there is a general agreement among researchers, policymakers, and development planners regarding the need to study the quality of life. The research findings show that the quality of life has many different dimensions, fields and indicators, which in most cases are directly related to economic development.
Development is a collaborative process. Decentralization and participation in various dimensions of economic development planning have been the focus of economists and sociologists in recent decades. Economists consider participation as a means to increase the growth rate, reduce unemployment, recognize abilities and use them at a comprehensive level, and better distribute income. This is despite the fact that according to most social scientists, participation leads to the efficiency of development plans. Participation brings with it commitment, and commitment comes with more effort, which is necessary for the success of development plans and programs.
