Explaining the relationship model of managers' job independence and the degree of strategic control with their individual and organizational performance in selected sports federations: the mediating role of organizational voice

Abstract

The current research was designed with the aim of explaining the relationship model of managers' job independence and the degree of strategic control with their individual and organizational performance in selected sports federations: the mediating role of organizational voice. The current research is correlational-causal and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population of the current research was considered to include the senior managers of Iranian sports federations, who are 350 people according to the information obtained from the Ministry of Sports and Youth. The whole society was selected as research samples and 350 questionnaires were distributed among the subjects. It should be noted that 46 questionnaires were not included in the analysis because they were not returned or were incomplete, and finally 304 questionnaires that were answered correctly entered the statistical analysis stage. The entire process of statistical analysis of the research was done using Excel 2021, SPSS version 26 and SmartPLS software. The results of this research showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between managers' job autonomy and their strategic control with individual and organizational performance, and organizational voice also has a mediating role between job autonomy and strategic control with individual and organizational performance. Conclusion: Paying attention to job independence and strategic control provides the level of individual and organizational performance of sports federation managers.
