The effect of mental patterns of successful entrepreneurs on the entrepreneurship process of Sistan and Baluchestan according to Q methodology

Abstract

Entrepreneur is regarded as the focal point of effort and progress during the modern era. Without sufficient attention to "the development of entrepreneurial culture", it will not be possible to achieve the growth and development indicators that are obtained through making changes in the production process, productivity, and technical and industrial empowerment in the economic field. The present study aimed to identify the mental patterns of successful entrepreneurs using Q methodology, which combines method qualitative and quantitative research methods. The population included the successful entrepreneurs in Sistan and Baluchestan, among which 15 people were intentionally selected in an initial interview. In the discourse space, 512 phrases were first identified, of which 76 factors were selected as the Q sample. Then, they were evaluated by 50 participants by using Q cards and finally were analyzed through Q factor analysis. The results indicated that there were four mental successful entrepreneurs, including entrepreneurship education, buying and selling pricing, extensive exports, existence of appropriate and protective laws that these patterns were stated 56.08% of the total variance.
