Providing an e-citizen education model in the curriculum of the second year of high school (Case study of Golestan province)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a model of e-citizen education in the curriculum of the second year of high school. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection and has been done in both quantitative and qualitative methods. The statistical population in the qualitative section is 30 experts in the field of educational sciences and in the quantitative section are 270 educational administrators, counselors, experts and administrators of secondary schools in Golestan province. Among them, 159 people were selected as the sample size based on the Cochran sample size formula and based on stratified random sampling method. The data collection method of the present study consists of two parts, which include library studies and field research. An open researcher-made interview and questionnaire were used to collect field information. Structural-interpretive modeling (ISM) method has been used to design the initial model of e-citizen education. The partial least squares method was used to validate the model. In the qualitative part, content analysis of Maxqda software and structural-interpretive analysis with MicMac and at least partial squares with Smart PLS have been performed.
